Refund & Withdrawal Policy

Purchases are final and do not include a voluntary refund, return period or money-back guarantee. This rule applies only to discretionary refunds and never excludes or reduces a right or remedy that cannot legally be waived.

This policy never excludes or reduces rights that cannot legally be waived. If consumer law requires a full refund, longer period, repair, replacement, price reduction, termination or another remedy, that remedy applies. Defective, inaccessible, duplicate or materially misdescribed purchases are assessed under applicable law as well as this policy.

An EU/EEA consumer generally has 14 days from conclusion of an online distance contract to withdraw, subject to applicable exceptions and the facts of the supply. A valid statutory withdrawal may require a full refund. The required checkbox inside Polar checkout agrees to the Terms; it does not say that the withdrawal right is waived.

EU rules also provide mandatory remedies when digital content or a digital service does not conform. Depending on the supply and law, these can include bringing it into conformity, price reduction or termination, and applicable liability periods may continue after purchase.

Open https://themarkdowneditor.app/refunds during an applicable period. Choose the request, provide purchaser name, purchase email and Polar order reference, review the summary, then use the final confirmation button. Statutory withdrawal does not require a reason.

The system sends an email acknowledgment with the submission timestamp. You may also send an unambiguous withdrawal statement to help@themarkdowneditor.app with the same identifying details. Do not send card data.

We aim to respond within 2 business days. Approved refunds go through Polar to the original payment method. Polar, the card network and bank control settlement timing. Currency conversion, rounding, tax and processor line items can affect the display, but mandatory amounts and deadlines are not reduced. Statutory refunds are processed within the deadline required by law.

Cancel Monthly at https://themarkdowneditor.app/portal. Cancellation stops future renewals and normally preserves access through the paid period; it does not itself refund that period. A mandatory refund or statutory termination may end access when issued. Monthly renews at EUR 8 or the fixed local price shown at checkout.
